Triathlon anyone?
hi all,
just thinking rite, if all the j2s leave next year, it will be damn sad for afterburners, cos only 6 of us are left. me jasper tea chinyue ben zhaoying. so i was thinking rite, since recre swimming doesnt seems to work, we shld try changing the cca and split it from swimming. and i got this "brainwave" !!! WOW!!!
since mr ortega so enthu abt triathlon and stuff, i was thinking change it to training for triathlon, so wanna ask for ur opinions. if its okay, we can then ask ortega whether it would work. lol. we could have a proposal or smt, then submit. haha.

To the J2s
hey J2s,
pls take note that for the 3 best achievements that you guys are writing, remember to write it from the 3rd person viewpoint. ie. instead of saying 'I did .... and ..." , you should be saying "Alex (your name pls) has been... and he ...".
That's what mr ortega said today la. and the total length of all 3 achievements should be max 2000 characters long including spaces in between. Deadline is mid-august. that's all for now. will update you guys again if mr 'O' wants to make any more changes. happy mugging!

Sad to say, the GSS is now officially over...

Good attempt in 'suaning'.. We were playing defence ok.. Not the striker.. But still we GOT play a part in winning ok!!! Yiming was the goalie!!! Everyone played very well.. Especially the J1 girls!!! They were really great!!! Grace gt scratched like mad.. Really cat fight!!!

hey guys... haha... this is my first time i'm blogging in my entire life la. haha... came home quite early today cos the library is FULL (with Jin being one of the occupants), so decided to post my very first blog. anyway, congrats to the girls polo for coming in first! you guys got score anything anot? who's the goal keeper btw?
oh yah... do you guys want to go continue going gym every friday after school? junyang is dismissed at 4pm every fri, so may need to stay back a little. comments?

Mommy, it's over!
Remember the green monster on Just for Laughs?
The swimming season is over for the afterburners and we had a good nationals (improvements in time and even making the finals). This is the end of all the skipping school for this year. This would also be the last year of competitive swimming for the large majority of the afterburners. Dunno how the afterburners will survive.
We are not recreational swimmers, we are champions! oh no, too much milo over the last 2 weeks ;)

Ballroom dancing is fun! (no pun intended)
Hey, whos joining ballroom for PE elec? Cos i m most prob joining tt. Let me tell u pple y we shld all join ballroom for PE...
Ballroom dancing is an xcellent form of enjoyment for every1 n also an ideal way to stay in shape. Any of the arts, dancing, singing, painting, r ways to get feelings out. Dancing is sort of a form of expression. Its also a way to relax while exercising.
Ballroom dancing has many advs:
- Strengthen bones n muscles without hurting ur joints
- Tone ur entire body
- Improve ur posture n balance, which can prevent falls
- Increase ur stamina n flexibility
- Reduce stress n tension
- Build confidence
- Provide opportunities to meet pple
- Ward off illnesses, like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis n depression
See, there r so many benefits from ballroom dancing. So join me in the swing, waltz, foxtrot, tango, rumba, cha-cha, two-step, etc. Especially junyang, cos ur class is in the same PE grp as my class. Dont know if this is offered to the J2s but if it is, just join n bcome a brethren of ballroom instantaneously!!!
